About Land of Friends Group

Our Background

Land of Friends Care (LOF) was founded to address the growing need for affordable, high-quality senior care. Each day, 11,000 Americans turn 65 and will require additional support as they age. According to AARP, 90% of those over 65 prefer to "age in place." Presently, over $144 billion is spent each year on residential care communities, alongside over $148 billion dedicated to in-home care, emphasizing a total addressable market in the hundreds of billions that is steadily expanding.

The current demand for caregivers far exceeds supply, with only one caregiver available for every 40 positions. Family caregivers often struggle to balance work, family commitments, and the needs of senior relatives. LFG aims to provide more options for older Americans at competitive price points. By 2030, every baby boomer will be over 65, accounting for over 24% of the U.S. population. LOF seeks to establish a unified platform that enhances care for older adults.

Our strategy includes collaborating with experienced care providers to create a network of solutions that meet the increasing demand for senior care. We have identified adult daycare as a foundational element of our service delivery model. The adult daycare industry predominantly comprises small operators, or "Mom and Pop" businesses, with no single provider holding more than 1% of the market share.

LOF intends to consolidate this sector and utilize these centers as hubs for innovative and cost-effective senior care solutions.

Additionally, Land of Friends Care Group will seek out pioneering companies in senior care that can deliver services more efficiently and expand care options, particularly for individuals with cognitive challenges. We believe technology will play a crucial role in the delivery of care, both in centers and through virtual means.
